The Montana Board of Housing, otherwise referred to as BOH, was primarily established to to provide decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing for lower income individuals and families in the State of Montana.

BOH is an independent agency which operates solely using independent funds instead of using taxpayer money. The programs of the BOH are financed through the issuance of tax-exempt bonds, administration of federal housing programs and the formation of partnerships with many other housing providers throughout Montana.
