The Small Business Administration is set to administer project grants with an estimated budget amounting to $50,000 per single award and is planning to award multiple grants pending the availability of funds and resources.

Interested applicants of the PRIME Technical Assistance Program can visit the Grants.gov website or contact a local SBA office near them.

The organizations and institutions that are eligible to participate in the PRIME Technical Assistance program are the following:

a) A micro-enterprise program or organization that has constantly demonstrated record of delivering micro-enterprise services to disadvantaged low-income micro-entrepreneurs

b) An intermediary, including private, nonprofit entities that serve micro-enterprise development organizations

c) A micro-enterprise development program or organization that is working with a state or local government or Indian tribe and is accountable to a local community,

d) Indian tribes that are acting on their own, thereby having the ability to certify that no private organization or program exists within its jurisdiction.
