d) Deeply uncover the processes of the universe, explore how it began and evolved, and continue to search for Earth-like planets.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is willing to award funds ranging from $100,000 to $1,000,000 depending on the activities that are included in the project proposals of the investigators.
Interested investigators will be considered eligible to participate to the ROSES 2011 program if they are affiliated with any of the following:
a) Educational, industrial, and non-profit organizations
b) Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs)
c) University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs)
d) NASA Centers
e) Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL)
d) Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
e) Other Minority Universities (OMUs)
f) Small disadvantaged businesses (SDBs)
g) Veteran-owned small businesses and service disabled veteran-owned small businesses
h) HUBZone small businesses, and women-owned small businesses (WOSBs
i) Other government agencies.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the primary agency funding the ROSES 2011 program, is the country's premiere agency that is mainly in-charge of exploring and pioneering in the fields of aeronautics, exploration systems, science and space operations.
