c) and lastly, integrate information and communication techniques for greater outreach and information sharing potential.

USAID plans to administer a ceiling amount of up to $450,000 to three separate entities eligible to receive this grant.

Interested applicants are asked to submit their applications to the Grants.gov website on or before September 16, 2011.

This funding opportunity is open to all for profit and non-profit organizations both from international sectors or from Mongolia.

The following are also eligible to apply:

a) private institutions of higher education

b) for profit organizations other than small businesses

c) small businesses

d) individuals capable of working towards the project objectives

The Citizen Engagement and Elections Project in Mongolia in part of USAID's Foreign Assistance for Programs Overseas, which is designed to provide support to long-term and equitable economic improvement and enhance the nation's foreign policy objectives, specifically by supporting economic growth, agriculture and trade, global health and democracy, conflict prevention, and finally, humanitarian assistance.

The United States Agency for International Development, the main agency funding this program, is an independent federal government agency that enables more 100 countries develop their fullest potential through the provision of economic and humanitarian assistance from the US government.
